Supportive Counselling at Newlife
Are you experiencing distress or worry? Need support from someone who understands?
Most of us grow up assuming that we will have children one day. The need to reproduce is one of our most basic and powerful drives. When we are frustrated in achieving what we’ve always believed was a given, our confidence in who we are and what the future holds can be shaken. Feelings of grief and anger, sadness and disappointment, can all too quickly cast long shadows on our whole outlook on life.
Newlife’s fertility counsellors appreciate that the world of Reproductive Technology, which offers such hope, also brings its own challenges and pressures.
Both our counsellors are fully trained and accredited and have years of experience in the process of Assisted Conception and familiarity with the particular difficulties and worries facing those going through it. They can give vital support before, during or after treatment. They can help you think through the implications of treatment options and facilitate important decision-making at any stage. And, because they know everyone’s own fertility experience will be personal and unique to them, our counsellors are flexible about what help is needed – and when. The agenda is yours.
- Supportive Counselling Session: £60 (£80 in Central London).
- All payments are made direct to the counsellor.
- How Long?
- Usually about 50 minutes. Longer sessions may sometimes be arranged if appropriate.
Our Counsellors, Norah Harding and Gosia Heeley see patients at Newlife but also at their private practices in Richmond-upon-Thames, Guildford and Central London.
Our counsellors are an important part of Newlife Fertility but they work independently and their services are confidential.
