Ivka provides treatment for pre and post embryo transfer. She uses a tailored, holistic approach, to improve herpatient’s wellbeing and quality of life. Both stress and hormonal imbalances are thought to be frequent contributors to fertility problems, and a lot of the work she does at the Clinic is focused upon reducing them. Ivka formulates a naturally-orientated treatment plan which combines acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, therapeutic massage, dietary advice, exercise and lifestyle management. She has extensive experience and knowledge in employing traditional Chinese, and Western medicine, to treat fertility, immune, emotional, digestive, and musculoskeletal problems, and regularly attend the latest professional development courses.
Acupuncture can help treat problems during pregnancy and also reduce the risk of miscarriage, especially during the first 13 weeks, and help to prepare the body for labour.
It takes three months for a sperm and an egg to develop from a cell. It is never too late to start your acupuncture treatment, but ideally treatment should start 3 months before you try for a baby to help get you in the best possible ‘shape’ for conception.
