Sana graduated from the University of Health Sciences Pakistan in 2008. She progressed her studies to obtain an MSc in Biochemistry and MPhil in Molecular Biology, in the Faculty of Molecular Medicine at the University of UOL.
She is experienced in andrology related techniques such as Semen analysis, retrograde Ejaculation Sperm Preparation, Post-Vasectomy Screening, as well as embryology-related techniques including Oocyte Pick-up, Identification & grading of oocytes, Zygote and embryo evaluation, culture and transfer, cryopreservation and thawing of oocytes /embryos, IVF and ICSI. She is currently working on HCPC registration.
Sana is well equipped with artificial intelligence technology to electronically identify and consistently select the best embryo to transfer from the patient’s cohort, with the goal of reducing pregnancy time.
Sana has more than 9 years’ experience in clinical IVF and reproductive research. She is published in the areas of embryology and male infertility, with a special emphasis on investigating non-invasive biomarkers for selecting the embryo with the highest implantation potential using microRNA technology.
Sana currently holds active memberships in the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) and the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE). In addition, Sana participates and presents her research at esteemed annual medical conventions. She is proud to have been published in an extensive list of scientific journals and brings her passion for research, investigation, and facilitating solutions to support our patients’ fertility journeys.
